Lady Gaga thrilled Omaha locals as she took in the town with boyfriend Luc Carl over the holiday. Luc, a Nebraska native living in New York, was in town to visit his parents, who still live in nearby Springfield, Nebraska.
According to Omaha.com, Gaga showed up at a fish market, a bowling alley, a pizza joint and a few bars while she was in town. She was careful to avoid getting swamped by fans, showing up unannounced and taking off before word had spread too far. Omaha.com reports that she stepped into Sydney Bar at about 8:30 PM on the day after Christmas when there were just 15 people or so on hand.
The singer put Police hit "Roxanne" on the jukebox and sang along before taking a picture with a local fan named Mikaela Olson.
“I was shocked,” said Olson. “She was so nice. She started talking to us and was hanging out at my table.”
